Beautiful house in central Amsterdam, between Rijksmuseum and Prinsengracht

Our house was completely renovated 3 years ago. It's a beautiful and characteristic 300years old building in a quiet residential street in the middle of the center of Amsterdam.

The museum square, the lively Leidseplein, the picturesque "Spiegelstraat", filled with beautiful antique shops and art galleries, Prinsengracht and lots of great restaurants, bars and shops are right around the corner from us. There are also several great playgrounds for kids in the neighbourhood.

Our house can comfortably sleep 4-6 people. It has 3 bedrooms and a small office that has another single bed.

The master bedroom on the first floor is very spacious (30 m2) and has a very comfortable 4-poster bed which was made from old wooden floor boards from our house. It has an en-suite bathroom with a free standing bathtub and a rain shower. The girls room has a full-size single bed and a smaller kids bed. Our guest room has a single bed which can fold out to a double. There is also a second bathroom on the ground floor with a shower.

The living room is light, with big windows and high ceilings. It has a small dining area and a comfortable seating area with sofa and 2 great, very comfortable loungers. We have a big screen TV with digital TV channels and Netflix. The kitchen is connected to our living room. It's a lovely, fully equipped kitchen (we love to cook and bake:-) and it looks out onto the garden. Our house has a nice little garden in the back with 2 sun loungers, a bbq, a nice outside dinner table and a small sandpit for the children.

We put a lot of love into the furnishing of our house. It's a mix of scandinavian design furniture, a few antiques and home accessories that we collected from travels around the world. We also have quite a few moroccan furnishings in the house which make it very cozy. You also find our beautiful moroccan carpets throughout the house. We design them ourselves as part of a little charity project we are doing to support the ladies of Driss' birth village in Morocco, who make the carpets themselves for a fair wage as a labour of love.

We also have a bed and breakfast within our house (the B&B rooms have a private entrance).

Please understand that we have to ask a surcharge of 50,- Euro per night per additional person.
